Context and task
DJob is a service for finding remote jobs or jobs abroad. The task was to design a home page that lets a person start searching within seconds: enter a job title and location, pick a category or apply straight to a recommended vacancy. Separately, it had to let employers find candidates through uploaded CVs.
How we designed it
On a job search site, what matters most is getting to vacancies fast. So the search bar sits right on the hero, and directly below it are 8 categories with open-vacancy counts. Trust is reinforced by floating cards with numbers (100K+ vacancies, 12K+ users) and a “You are accepted” notification. The style is a light lavender palette with a blue-violet accent, large headings and plenty of white space.
Campaign architecture
- “Discover Your Dream Job” hero: search by job title and location, Sign Up / Sign In buttons and trust cards with numbers.
- “Find Your Jobs By Category”: 8 categories — from Business Development to IT & Software — with vacancy counts.
- “Discover Job Around The World”: a block about working abroad with a Get Started button.
- “Recommended Job For You”: Part Time / Full Time / Remote tabs and job cards with salary and an Apply Now button.
- “Let The Company Found You”: CV upload (Upload Your CV) and a visual with notifications from employers.
- User testimonials in a carousel, a newsletter signup and a footer with navigation and contacts.
What drives action
The page has 4 conversion points: search on the hero, Apply Now on job cards, Upload Your CV for those who want employers to find them, and a newsletter signup. All buttons share one accent color, so they are easy to spot.
Responsive design and dev handoff
Besides desktop, we built a mobile version: blocks are rearranged into one column, with search and categories kept up front. The Figma mockups are organized so a developer can take sizes, colors and components right away.
Summary
The client got a finished home page design for a job search service: a clear path from search to applying, a separate CV scenario and a mobile version ready for development.
